Donna Gabriel
has built a solid career in facilitating, producing, teaching,
training and coaching. Donna’s experience extends from
inspiring corporate clients – to designing and/or managing high
profile events and programs then coaching, mentoring and
teaching smaller groups to harness support for the
disadvantaged.
Having managed her own consulting company, Donna Gabriel
Consulting for 8 years, Donna has a proven successful track
record with the implementation of numerous major fundraising,
community, sporting and artistic events. An organiser, leader,
project manager, a powerhouse of energy, a capable professional
communicator and clever network builder, Donna is as happy to MC
as Stage Manage or design the program.
With her exceptional ability
to source, manage and train people into enthusiastic teams,
Donna combines her educator focus to involve the elite performer
or the raw amateur in a rich array of events – for Schools, TAFE,
VECCI, the Arts, Sports, Community and Corporate Industries.
For Windana and Lighthouse Foundation amongst others, Donna has
managed events, developed staff, volunteers and clients, raising
valuable funds, morale and profile.
Donna has choreographed, supplied and managed networks of crew,
volunteers and performers to help build the success of the
Melbourne Moomba Waterfest, AFL Grand Final, Formula 1 Grand
Prix, City of Melbourne New Years Eve, to name a few. At home
in both the Creative and Production Team, Donna
can design and develop one complete Section of a project
individually or engage a particular skill as part of a team.
Donna aims to inspire and instill a sense of team, fun, passion
and excellence in all who become involved in her ‘projects’.
Her qualifications and background as a drama teacher, sporting
coach, communication trainer and choreographer provide an
excellent combination for motivating people to be actively
engaged in the project at hand. Her love of community shows in
the not-for-profit sporting club where Donna has trained pupils
and coaches for many years to get involved and reap the
benefits.
Donna enjoys clients from a
variety of backgrounds, leading her to work with such groups as
disadvantaged teenagers, isolated Moslem immigrants and women in
prison as well as her corporate clients. Her passion is design
and facilitation of career development, communication, personal
development, and life skills programs, assisting to instigate
positive change in each ‘team’s’ outlook, approach and
engagement in society.
